A Million Little Things Season 5 Episode 2 contains a number of unforeseen events. In this episode, we see that Maggie’s pregnancy is becoming more and more difficult as she struggles with very harsh nausea and vomiting.
As a result, she is forced to leave the room where she is speaking in order to use the bathroom during her segment. Gary takes over, and tries to occupy the airtime until she returns because he has nothing to do.
Maggie firmly states that she will return after her 12-week maternity leave, but Colton only tries to convince her to consider staying home to take care of her newborn. It leaves a bad taste in all of our mouths. Not only that, but we later see Gary’s therapist interview to take her place.
Later, we find out that Eddie has been visiting Katherine’s house too often, which makes Greta understandably angry. Later, when she tries to apologize, she in fact helps him create a dating profile.

Sophie stands up for him, and it’s later discovered that he’s innocent and that the marks on his arm were in fact caused by the dialysis he was scheduled for at the time of the robbery.
