The MCU has been able to develop and evolve at a rate and depth that it could not before thanks to Disney+. However, amongst the seemingly unlimited number of proposals, there’s one that stands out: Avengers 5.
Despite the title, nearly nobody believes that Endgame will be the last Avengers movie. The squad at all times bounces back and, more significantly, the franchise’s funding dynamo won’t be shut down indefinitely. So, what is the next step? All indications point to an excellent delivery of one of Marvel Comics’ most significant events: Avengers: Secret Wars.
What is Avengers: Secret Wars

The term has been used for a number of stories, some of which are significantly different from the others. The first, which took place in 1984, involved a cosmic creature known as The Beyonder who transported Marvel’s greatest heroes and villains to a place called Battleworld, where they faced off against one another for the chance to fulfill their ambitions and all their desires. . In fact, the plot was nearly completely designed to sell additional toys.
The version of the story that Jonathan Hickman told in 2015 is now nearly certainly the one that the MCU will use for the majority of its films. The implications of his narrative couldn’t be greater.
Worlds begin to collide, leading to the death of multiple worlds in a catastrophic and terrible way. As multiple universes collide, ending entire existences, these occurrences, known as Incursions, begin to occur at a much faster rate. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have the ability to stop them. As a result, the whole universe comes to an end. So, how do people interpret it?
Doctor Doom, who, without going into too many technical specifics, gains incomprehensible cosmic powers just in time to build a patched existence made up of parts of planets he was able to preserve, keeps life going.
The Multiverse

The Multiverse is certainly the one concept that Avengers: Secret Wars is most dependent on. The entire narrative revolves around this, and how it grows unstable and ultimately collapses with many worlds and realities colliding, destroying entire universes.
The Multiverse is a significant idea in Phase 4 as many of you no doubt know. While Infinity Saga had the stones, the coming years of the MCU storyline will absolutely continue to depend on parallel universes and the different creative possibilities they provide.
Now that fans have seen Loki, What If…?, and Spider-Man: No Way Homethey’ve a pretty decent sense of what to expect.
Multiverse Insanity

More critical information was supplied with its proper announcement in Loki, which points the storyline directly into Secret Wars territory. He Who Remains by Jonathan Majors has already been keeping his Variants from launching a new Multiversal war that threatens to destroy the whole universe. This looks like something that will occur at some point similar to Thanos’ tragic snap.
While viewers have just seen a glimpse of multiple dimensions, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness intends to explore these concepts further. Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, is also expected to play a major role.
After watching Spider-Man: No Way Home, one thing is evident: people like nostalgia. The film reintroduced classic enemies in addition to the past 2 Spider-Man, and was a financial success.
With the release of Multiverse of Madness, there has been an endless stream of speculation about personalities that may appear as the plot takes audiences across the Multiverse.
Due to the options provided by the film, fans can get to see Doctor Strange & Wanda Maximoff meet mutants for the first time, in addition to the original Fantastic Four and the Inhuman monarch Black Bolt. Marvel clearly recognizes the value of appearances and the thrill they provide to fans.
Secret Wars is the ideal setting for such events. The whole premise lends itself more to strange recreations of well-known heroes and stories. The creators could practically make anything and everything possible.
This allows for returning characters like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to come back, in addition to a fast way to see Robert Downey Jr. in addition to Chris Evans, or even bring to life alternate universes where fully different MCU events took place.
It is difficult to disregard this tale. It’s hard to fathom a reality in which Marvel does not incorporate Secret Wars, irrespective of whether it is an upcoming event or not.
Legacy Characters
This following text may be a coincidence, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. It was the last stage of a drive for legendary characters to jump to the forefront when the narrative of Secret Wars of 2015 began.
Miles Morales took out Spider-Man, Sam Wilson took out the Falcon, and Jane Foster took out the God of Thunder. While Miles is still missing from the MCU, the other 2 will be constant in a few months.
They weren’t the only ones who thought this way. She-Hulk will be played by Tatiana Maslany, Yelena Belova will be played by Florence Pugh, and Riri Williams will be played by Dominique Thorne.
This is absolutely far from anything to do with confirmation.
Marvel’s Secret Future
So the next main Avengers movie is still in the works, many speculations have hinted at a Younger Avengers spin-off, which makes perfect sense considering the reintroduction of practically the whole main squad in -the previous year. In the comics, the gang has a lot of spinoffs, so it will only be a matter of time until the MCU gets on board.
