It’s time to dive into dark fantasy anime again! MULE!! -Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy Season 2 is filled with every kind of dark genre material, from gore to sexual violence, as the title suggests.

For some, watching anime with a dark theme can be distressing, but this anime is worth watching for strong-willed people who refuse to look the other way.

The first season of the anime, consisting of the first 13 episodes, was released on Netflix globally in June 2022. On September 15, Netflix released Season 2, which included episodes 14-24.

Mule!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- Requiem of Hell Arc, Season 2 of the famous anime based on Kazushi Hagiwara’s action manga, will be released worldwide on Netflix on July 31, 2023.

What is season 2 of BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy about?

The anime is set in England. However, the character names are near Chinese. The story takes place in an area destroyed by an apocalypse, where people live in constant danger from monsters such as goblins, orcs, vampires, and other mythological creatures, and the power that can save them is even more evil.

The anime’s foundation is based on the dark fantasy world of the manga, with an action-packed story that focuses on Dark Schneider, a robust Wizard who awakens after a 15-year slumber.

The story continues well beyond what is presented in the extra episodes; this story was the most popular in the manga. We also see the deadly confrontation between Dark Schneider and Kall-Su.

The additional episodes will cover volumes 8 to 12 of the manga, leading up to Hell’s Requiem.

The Dark Rebel Army led by a sorcerer attacks the Kingdom of Metallicana on the Central Medallion Continent.
