Chicago Fire Season 9 Update: Last week only marks the long-awaited premiere for NBC’s One trilogy of Chicago plays. As Chicago Fire anchors the season opener on Wednesday night. Right between the first episodes of the sixth season of Chicago Med and the eighth season of Chicago PD.

These two installments are sure to get fans talking about the departing characters and a few new faces. But meanwhile, the Chicago fire causes some conversation about some behind-the-scenes issues. Most concerning is multiple members of the production crew tested positive for the COVID19 virus infection. This is the reason behind the closure of the production of the ninth season with immediate effect.

It seems that Chicago fire has to stop its filming and production processes last Sunday. According to our sources on November 8th everything will be stopped instantly. Currently, this closure is for two weeks of fourteen days.

But so far neither NBC authorities nor members of the show’s production team have revealed anything publicly. The confirmation thing we got from our sources that several different people on the set of Chicago Fire tested positive for COVID19.

When one of the crew members tested positive for the virus infection. The authorities stopped production and detailed tests were carried out. This helped them to look for more of the positive cases in the crew members.

According to the universal NBC guideline, the Rapid COVID test is necessary for everyone established and daily. Now according to the quarantine rules, everybody from the set will must follow fourteen days of isolation. This caused the production to be put aside for two weeks.

Unfortunately, it’s the second Chicago drama to face this situation. Before this Chicago Med also came out with a hand full of positive cases of COVID. This also just after a few days of the start of Ince 22 September 2020.

All the Chicago Dramas are filmed in Los Angeles but it seems that the location of the shoot is not helping them much. Like the entire world, the entertainment industry is facing harsh impacts of the Corona pandemic. The industry is suffering because of lack of production for five continuous months, during the global lockdown.
