Freddie Prinze Jr. is returning to the big screen for this festive season. On October 19, Netflix released the trailer for “Christmas With You”, which appears to be the perfect combination of melody, love and festive charm.
According to IMDB, this is Prinze Jr.’s first comeback. for an excellent movie from 2008 ‘Jack and Jill vs. “As much as I was afraid to return to film production, I could not have chosen a more charming picture or a more amazing crew to work with,” the actress told Tudum. “They rekindled my passion for this industry.”
Since 2008, Prinze Jr. he has portrayed a broad range of characters in animated films, and has also acted in a number of television episodes, notably 2021’s “Punky Brewster”. But the actor is best known for his filmography, in which he starred alongside his future spouse, Sarah Michelle Gellar, in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 1998.
Gellar, who has also taken a break from performing over the past decade, earlier spoke about her and her husband’s choice to return to the show after taking a break to raise their kids.
Charlotte and Rocky, the couple’s two kids, will be 13 and 10 years old in September 2022, respectively. “They get to a point where they are much more autonomous,” Gellar explained. “Because of the introduction of FaceTime and other technologies, you can continue to be connected in a different way – and I just felt that they were at a stage where they could handle it.”
It is evident that Gellar and Prinze Jr. they’re loving parents, and Prinze Jr. he appears to be preparing to play another devoted father in “Christmas With You.”
