Daisy Edgar Jones is an English actress, born on May 24, 1998, in Islington, London, England. His mother Wendy Edgar Jones is Irish and is a film editor by profession, her Scottish father Philip Jones is the director of a media company.
Education:
Daisy began her education at The Mount School for Girls which was located in the Mill Hill area of North London. She later entered Woodhouse College and then began acting at the National Youth Theatre. She completed her graduation from an Open University.
Career:

Daisy Edgar Jones made her acting debut in 2016 at the age of 17 in the British sitcom television series Outnumbered, she was in 5 series and had 35 episodes, and the show aired on BBC One . She then appeared in the British comedy and drama television series Cold Feet from ITV.
She next landed a leading role in the BBC drama television series Silent Witness. She then appeared in the directorial drama film of actor Bill Buckhurst Pond Life. She was in the National Youth Theater production team for the political drama film The Reluctant Fundamentalist, based on the novel of the same name by the novelist Mohsin Hamid.
In 2019 Edgar Jones landed a recurring role in the HBO and BBC historical drama television series Gentleman Jack. In the same year, she appeared in the TV series of the Fox network War of Worlds. Her next project of 2019 was a lead role in the BBC three & Hulu romantic psychology drama series titled Normal People, it was based on the novel by Irish writer Sally Rooney.
At such a young age she has already been selected in the list of influential women of British Vogue in 2020. She played a leading role in an American comedy thriller titled Fresh and the film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2020. She will be seen in the American drama film Where the Crawdads Sing, to be released by the end of the year.
