Recently widowed, Jen is a real estate agent from California. Her husband was killed in a hit and run case. Jen tries to deal with the situations but, instead ends up with her frustrations and anger. She joins a rehab center for the heel, where Judy joins her.
Judy tells Jen that her boyfriend died of a heart attack, but this is in fact not the reality. Judy is the hit and run driver and her boyfriend broke up with her.
When Jen finds out the reality, she suffers more depression and frustration. The next season can show how Jen deals with all those problems she faced at the end of season 2.

The series was renewed for season 3 in July 2020. The next and the next season will be broadcast soon on the streaming giant Netflix. But here is also bad news; season will be the last season of this astonishing series. Fans will see season 3 as the final season of ‘Dead To Me’.
After the renewal, there was no such news about the filming of the series. And for now, filming can’t be done until December, as a result of a pandemic. Filming will now start from January 11 and will continue until April 2021. So we can expect the season towards the end of 2021.
