In the year 1966, the Tokyo Broadcasting system launched Ultra Q with one of the leading members. Hey Tsuburaya- master behind the special effects in the Godzilla series. Ultra Q premiered on a small screen in a black and white X movie with giant monsters in it.
Ultra Q was a fast hit and the production asked Eiji for a sequel. This time with new graphics and adventures. So a week later of the Ultra Q episodes, Ultraman made his screen debut.
In the first episode, a scientific organization called the SSSP appeared, which investigates both biological and alien threats. One novice of the team Shin Hayata, crashed his plane with the red celestial orb and the blue orb crashed on the ground.
The entity in the red orb intervenes to save Hayata’s life. He was Ultraman, an intergalactic warrior from Nebula M78. Ultraman fuses his life force with Hayata in order to save him and Hayata is ready to consume a beta capsule to transform into Ultraman. The 40 foot warrior with special skills and powers.
Faraway Details About Ultraman Japanese Series
The great success of Ultraman led Tsuburaya Production to release Ultraseven in 1967 with a more refined version of the previous one. The story in Ultraseven was more mature in all aspects and the battles seemed more vigorous and intense. In this, an alien takes human form unlike the previous series. Dan Moroboshi, Ultraseven’s alter ego, worked for the ultra guard high security agency
In 1971 the makers returned with The return of Ultraman with their basic plot of Ultraman bonding with a man named Ultraman Jack.
The Original Ultraman and Ultraseven made their guest appearances in the series as well.
Each series cast distinct Ultras but exquisitely maintained the hierarchy of the Ultraman series.
