According to the reports of Variety, he made the decision not to produce new episodes for any upcoming season. However, CBS undertakings are hoping to continue it during the seasons 2023 and 24. They may be going with different packers or having a repetition of it.

CBS emphasised related to the call to end the production that goes out from Monday to Friday. The only reason because of it’s Dr. Phil has also been doing lots of production stuff in last few years. He is more of a producer in this scripted primetime and also hosts podcasts.

The reason behind the discontinuation of the stock show is the decline in views. It garnered two million viewers per episode initially making it the highest rated daytime talk show. This rating became among the best in terms of all the talks produced. It started back in 2022 and spent many years in television.

According to McGraw’s statement: “With this show, we have helped thousands of guests and millions of viewers with everything from addiction and marriage to mental well-being and parenting. This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career, but as I get through the day, there’s so much more I want to do.”

He continued and said: “I am compelled to engage with a wider audience because I have serious concerns for the American family, and I am determined to help restore clarity of purpose as well as our core values.”
