Ed Sheeran

The first one was related to his wife Cherry being diagnosed with a tumor and then it was followed by the death of his best friend named Jamal. The last one was the copyright case for his song called Shape Of You which was wrong.

He told how his wife got pregnant and told him a couple of tumor without treatment until the birth of a kid. Ed Sheeran wrote: “My best friend Jamal, my brother, died abruptly, and that I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter.

I was crashing through fear, depression, and anxiety. I felt like I was drowning, head under the surface, looking up but I could not gasp for air.”

Cherry and Ed Sheeran had their second child in May 2022. They decided to name this baby Jupiter. He comes with more information related to his wife’s health so it’s not clear if she is receiving treatment or received any treatment after the birth of the second child.

Talking about the Shape Of You lawsuit the singer won the copyright claim and was awarded 1.1 million. He will soon be releasing his fifth Studio album which is getting fans excited. He has been working on this record and album for nearly 10 years with a clear vision.

But this vision is somewhat blurred by the moments that happened in 2022. And it is the reason why he chooses to undergo songwriting therapy. According to the singer:

“It helps me make sense of my feelings. I wrote without thinking what the songs should be. I wrote everything that fell out. And in a little more than a week I started a work of ten years with my deepest and darkest thoughts.”
