At the winter television critics association press tour (2019) series co-creator Robert King describes season 2 saying “what we wanted to avoid, the X Files certainly, what the supernatural or the flying saucers, so it’s a little vague. I’d like to say that the shows that we’ve seen, we just wanted to be a little bit more restrained about it and show that it’s a little Flannery O’Connor, a little Graham Greene, a little more these are not issues that they’re easy. They’re actually hard.”

Season 1 of the series was fascinating and it was enough to say that season 2 is awaiting its release. The release date for season 2 is not confirmed and it will pick up the story from the season 1 finale itself.

Release Date And Much More

Production, like any other film industry or series, had stopped because of the continuous pandemic. The filming had to take place in New York, which was impossible because of the pandemic and the lockdown. The production shutdown caused the series to delay its potential release date.

From an Instagram story by Katjia Herbers, it was announced that the production finally started on October 19. The potential release date has yet to be announced by the officials. But we can expect its 2nd season sometime in 2021.

We expect season 2 to be more EVIL than the previous ones.
