The story of The Wonder.

As I mentioned before the movie The Wonder is based on RJ Palacio’s 2012 book, “Wonder,”. The film is set in The Irish Midlands in 1862. In the story we see a girl who stops eating but miraculously remains alive and healthy.

English nurse Lib Wright is delivered to a small village to observe eleven-year-old Anna O’Donnell. This made people very curious to study the girl as it was believed that she survived without food for months and showed no sign of weakness.

On which platform you can watch The Wonder:

as of now, it is just available on Netflix and in the future apparently, there aren’t any plans to add the wonder on any other streaming platform.

“The wonder” is based on a real story?

even though the story of the film seems very realistic, the film is based on RJ Palacio’s 2012 book, “Wonder,” and is entirely frivolous. There is no sign of the film by which it can be proven that it’s based on a real story.

Since it’s not even scientifically possible for a person to live without food for so many days without affecting his/her health.
