On October 6, the Google Pixel 7 models will be available. Google will reveal two devices, one standard, and one Pro. While there’s still a week left until the release of the new Pixel phones, quite a lot of information about them has already leaked online. Some of the information has also been validated by the company.

The better part is that the Pixel 7 series will even be available in India. The launch date has yet to be decided, but Google is anticipated to make an announcement soon.

The phone will have the same punch-hole display as every other Android smartphone in the market. The Pixel 7 Pro is believed to have an enormous 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED screen. The display is projected to refresh at 120Hz for a better scrolling experience.

According to the referenced source, the 5G phone will even have LTPO technology, which will allow it to adjust the refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen.

The back of the Pixel 7 Pro will be made of glass, but not frosted glass. In addition, Google confirmed that the soft-touch glass won’t be included in the package.

The Pixel 7 Pro will have a curved display like its previous model. The smartphone will lack a 3.5mm headphone port, but will include a USB Type-C connection at the bottom. The speaker grill, which houses the phone’s primary speaker, is next to it.

The lock button, in addition to the audio rocker buttons, can be found on the right side of the phone. As is common with Pixel devices, the power/lock button is above the volume rocker buttons.

Pixel 7 Pro price

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is anticipated to cost $899 (roughly Rs 73,580), which is identical to the Pixel 6 Pro launched last year.

Features of the Google Pixel 7 Pro

A second-generation Tensor chipset will reportedly drive the Google Pixel 7 Pro with 12 GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Additionally, the phone will likely run Android 13 out of the box and include a Titan security chip.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery and offers 30W fast charging, similar to the Pixel 7. It is not clear if this is the actual connected charging speed or the maximum speed. The leak doesn’t mention any software innovations exclusive to the Pixel 7 series.

Camera Features

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is reported to have three cameras on the back. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

The arrangement is identical to the previous version, but the company is rumored to replace the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor for the 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 camera.

The system is likely to include OIS and EIS capabilities for stable video. People can expect an 11-megapixel camera on the front, similar to last year’s model.
