Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 was under production for a few months may now finally wrapped the shooting which was confirmed by the director James Gunn and the main lead of the film Cherish Pratt aka Star-Lord.

The film was shot in Atlanta where the sets were developed by Marvel Studios. James Gunn posted a picture of the crew and announced the completion of shooting for the third installment of Marvel’s Space Odessy The Guardians of the Galaxy.

In the post he said:

“And this is a wrap picture on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. I love this incredible cast and crew and their lovely talent and kind souls. I’m a lucky man to have them on the journey with me for nearly ten years.”

James also tweeted about the new entry in the Guardian of the Galaxy team, She can be seen with Gomorrah (Zoe Saldaña) who is Jennifer Holland, who played the role of Emilia Harcourt in Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad.

Chris Pratt also confirmed the wrap as he posted on his Instagram profile how he was welcomed by his family with a cake written “Welcome Home DADDY” and captioned the post with:

“That’s a wrap. Grateful to be home.”

Movie Release Date

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 has been scheduled to be released on May 5, 2023, after the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be released this vacation on Disney+.

This will be the last one in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy by James Gunn as he tweeted during filming:

“This is the end for us, the last time people will see this Guardians team… I just want to be true to the characters, and the story and give people the completion they deserve for the story. That’s always a little scary; I’m doing my best.”

But Marvel’s Space Odessy will continue as Volume 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy has already been announced by Marvel and I believe Marvel will take a different approach with the franchise after Volume 3.

What could occur in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3?

The story of Guardians of the Galaxy will continue after the team’s meeting with Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder, where our thor will leave the team to search for his inner peace and in -ultimately fights with Gorr the butcher of God who is coming. 8 July 2022.

According to the theDirectThe team will be joined by a new member Adam Warlock who will be played by Will Poulter, and Volume 3 will deal with the origin of Rocket Racoon, about the experiment with which he was made.

And according to the Official synopsis of the film, it will deal with the Counter-Earth and the Cosmic Ring which has been confirmed by a few set photos posted by a user named atalanta_filming on Instagram.

If you do not know about the Cosmic Circus and the Counter earth, it is the same planet earth but from another dimension where animal hybrids like Rocket live and I believe this will be part of Rocket’s back story only.
