Simon Rich created the American anthology comedy television series ‘Miracle Workers’ featuring an ensemble cast. The first season of the series revolves around a low-level angel who joins with others to stop God from destroying the Earth by enacting their most impossible miracle yet.

The plot of the second season is set in the Dark Ages. These first two seasons are respectively adapted from the novel What in God’s Name and the short story “Revolution”, both by Rich.

The plot of the third season finds Reverend Ezekiel Brown leading his starving town to seek a better future on the Oregon Trail.

The plot of the upcoming fourth season is set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world in which Sid, the Road Warrior, and Freya Exaltada, the Warlock, leave the Wasteland trapped with Scraps, the Dog of their War, to seek a normal life in Boomtown.

The series was first ordered on May 17, 2017. The first season was released on February 12, 2019, on TBS. The third season ran from 13 July to 14 September 2021.

Season 4 of Miracle Worker was renewed in November 2021. TBS released an official trailer for the upcoming season on YouTube on May 31, 2023. Season 4 is anticipated to be released on July 10 of this the year.
