Perry Mason Season 2 coming in March 2023? Let’s find out the details. Ron Fitzgerald and Rollin Jones created the American period drama series which is based on the American author and lawyer Erle Stanley Gardner who creates the same named character.
The plot revolves around the origin story of Perry Mason, a renowned defense lawyer. It is set in 1932 when just about all of the United States was struggling to recover from the Great Depression, but Los Angeles was still thriving.
As Perry Mason is still trying to deal with the trauma of his divorce and the Great War, he’s drawn into a sensational trial of a kid abduction case that leads to major consequences for everybody around him.
When does Perry Mason Season 2 come out?
The drama series was first reported to be in development on August 15, 2016. Robert Downey Jr. serves as an executive producer on the series and was also set to star in the series in the lead role.
Later Matthew Rhys who produced the series replaced him as the titular cast member. The series premiered on June 21, 2020, on HBO.
On July 22, 2020, it was announced that HBO confirmed ‘Perry Mason’ as a series regular from the previously decided limited series plan and renewed for Season 2.
Fitzgerald and Jones were announced on April 23, 2021, leaving the show to get replaced by Michael Begler and Jack Amiel. Season 2 will arrive on March 6, 2023, on HBO.
