Among the number of superhero movies coming out in 2023, probably the most significant is Shazam Fury of the Gods.
This upcoming superhero movie is centered around the titular DC Comics character. David F. Sandberg directed this film whose plot revolves around the fight between Billy Batson and his foster brothers and the Daughters of Atlas, who want to use weapons capable of destroying the entire world.
The title of the series comes from the word that turns Batson and his foster siblings into superheroes – “Shazam!”.
When Will Shazam Release Fury of the Gods?
The film will be the sequel to the 2019 superhero film ‘Shazam!’ serves as the twelfth installment of the DCEU.
Henry Gayden was announced to return as writer in April 2019 right after the successful opening of the prequel. In June Zachary Levi it has been confirmed that he’s returning to reprise the titular role in the sequel.
