The upcoming movie ‘Somebody I Used to Know’ is an American romantic comedy movie that’s scheduled to arrive in 2023. Dave Franco directed this film that revolves around a lady named Ally.

Ally is a workaholic woman who made a trip to her hometown. There she meets Sean again, her ex-boyfriend, who leads her to question the choices she made in her life.

This feeling is intensified after meeting Cassidy. Cassidy is a young woman in whom Ally can see the reflection of her past self. But things get more complicated as Cassidy is the one to whom Sean is now engaged.

The film was slated for August 2021 as an adaptation of a screenplay that Dave Franco co-wrote Alison Brie.

In the same month, Amazon Studios was announced to distribute the film with Brie, Kiersey Clemons, and Jay Ellis joins the film’s cast. The rest of the cast members joined the cast in September of that year.

Principal photography began around that month and resulted in August 2022. Director Dave Franco said the film is inspired by the romantic comedies of the 80s and 90s.

The official trailer of the film was released on YouTube by Amazon Prime Video on January 12, 2023. The film is scheduled to be released on Prime Video on February 10, 2023.
