The American actress, Jennifer Coolidge won the Golden Globe award for ‘Season 2 of The White Lotus. In the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series, An Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television, the actress won the 2023 Golden Globe Award.
The White Lotus is an HBO dark comedy-drama anthology television series produced by Mike White. It centers on the imaginary visitors and staff of the White Lotus chain of resorts, whose varied psychosocial disorders impact their ability to enjoy their time there.
The actress won the Golden Globe award for actress in a supporting role in a limited series. The other nominations in this category were Claire Danes (“Fleishman Is In Trouble”); Necy Nash-Betts (“Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer”); Daisy Edgar-Jones (“Under the Band of Heaven”) and her “White lotus“co-star, Aubrey Plaza.

In her acceptance speech, Jennifer Coolidge thanked several people including, Michael Patrick King, Ryan Murphyand Reese Witherspoon. She began the speech by saying, “Thank you, Hollywood Foreign Press. It really means a lot to me. I can post this, right? I do not work, you know what I mean? I am unable to keep it that long.”
She continued, “When I was younger, I had such high hopes and goals, but life has a way of getting in the way of things like that. Despite the proven fact that someone else did it, I believe I will become the queen of Monaco.
Then, as you become older, you start thinking, “Oh, what’s going to happen? And you gave me hope, Mike White. You gave me a new start. You have affected my life in so many ways.” She also said, “It would be great fun to bring Tanya back because she’s such a wonderful character, but maybe that’s her journey—a journey to death.”
Coolidge took supporting roles in the Legally Blonde series of films (2001–2003) and the American pie film series (1999–2012). She has worked in numerous movies like A Cinderella story (2004), Click (2006), Data Film (2006), Promising Young Woman (2020), An epic movie (2007), and Single-All Road (2021).
