Joe Pickett Season 2 Episode 2 Recap.

Joe comes to the woods. He observes the Grimm brothers eating an animal’s heart as he tries to get back on his feet. Joe’s presence is picked up by the brothers’ heightened sense of smell.
There is a gun fight, and Joe shoots one of the brothers in the face. The group comes together and realizes that they’ve to kill him, or others will go after them.
Joe falls into a cabin, where a mysterious woman offers him a drink to ease his pain.
Who does Marybeth ask for help to find Joe?

Marybeth informs everybody in town that Joe has gone missing, but nobody is willing to help. Finally, she gets Sheriff Barnum on a call, who agrees to send Deputy McLanahan in the morning to look for Joe and Frank.
She also calls Deputy Cricket at her house at 3 am to ask if she can contact Nate to find Joe.
Who gets Joe out of the woods?

After a huge gunfight in the cabin he was in, Joe fights to escape without being shot. After wandering through the woods, he sees a body hanging from a tree but then passes.
He wakes up by being dragged through the woods, and Nate Romanowski saves him as he looks up.
Nate breaks into Cricket’s house to surprise her, but she is irritated that he hasn’t contacted her in any way. Despite her desire for him to stay, she says she recently received a job promotion and shouldn’t welcome a runaway.
Is Frank still alive?

Joe answers the Sheriff’s questions about what happened in the woods with the brothers. He asks Sheriff Barnum if the body discovered in the woods was Frank’s, and verifies that Frank was last seen wearing the clothing that was recovered near the headless body.
The sheriffs cannot find anything in the woods Joe said. Deputy McLanahan doubts what Joe says, and suggests that they instead focus on the individual who killed Frank.
When the Sheriff calls to inform them that the search has been called off, Joe freaks out and leaves the hospital to go to the search site himself.
Will Joe be capable to save the day?

Sheriff Bud Barnum orders Deputy McLanahan to stop Joe from entering the crime scene. Joe continues by asking about the explanation for Sheriff Bud’s suspension of the search.
After a heated argument, the Sheriff instructs him to return home and rest. A poker chip with a deer emblem falls from Frank’s grasp as his corpse descends.
The camera pans out to disclose a sniper in the distance, peering through their scope amid the chaos of the crime scene as our protagonist examines the chip.
