“On Friday, January 27th at 4:30 pm The Ventura County Sheriff’s department was called to an intersection in Thousand Oaks California. When they arrived, they found out that Kanye ‘Ye’ West had taken a lady’s cell phone from her hand and thrown it into the street.

the statement continues: “He was not on the scene when we arrived. Mr. West is being investigated for theft charges. An investigation into this matter is ongoing. Officers were given video footage of the incident.”
