Must See Movies Like Through My Window: Based on the 2016 Wattpad story of the same name by Venezuelan author Ariana Godoy, this upcoming comedy drama novel will premiere on Netflix on February 4, 2022. Directed by ‘ Marcal Fores, the Spanish film has already raised plenty of anticipation and excitement amongst subscribers.
Raquel has a mysterious and attractive next door neighbor who has been crushing on her for a long time. Raquel is now madly in love with him and watches him from her window. She is determined to make him fall in love with her. But she cannot do this at the expense of losing herself.

The plot revolves around two people who are extremely different from one another. One is Babi who is an innocent upper middle class girl, educated in goodness.
The other is Hache who is a rebellious boy with a life of impulse, risk appetite and danger, illogical motorbike racing. But when the two worlds belonging to two utterly different worlds fall in love, a special bond develops. Mario Casas and Maria Valverde play the roles of Hache and Babi respectively.
Sounds Like Love (2021)-

Another Spanish romantic comedy filmSounds Like Love‘s is directed by Juana Macias. It is based on the 2018 novel by Elisabet Benavent.
Despite having a endless job and being involved with men with whom she can never make an emotional connection, the life of Maca, a thirty-year-old woman living in Madrid, was going quite well with the support of her friends Jimena and Adriana . But when her ex Leo who previously broke her heart and which Maca considers as the biggest mistake of her life comes back to her life, she has to face all the suppressed emotions of her heart.
The film premiered on 29 September 2021 on Netflix and starred Maria Valvedre in the role of Maca.
The Wedding Unplanner (2020) –

The third Spanish rom-com drama on the list is directed by Dabi de la Orden and revolves around Marina, a successful wedding planner who does not believe in love because her father cheated on her mother.
Marina had a one-night-stand with a man named Carlos. But when she yet again works as a marriage planner for her friend Alexia, she finds out that the man Alexia is marrying is Carlos.
This film premiered in 2020 on Valentine’s day (February 14) and was a star Belen CuestaAlex Garcia, and Silvia Alonso as Marina, Carlos, and Alexia respectively.
The Shell (2021)-

Another Spanish romantic comedy musical film directed by Secun de la Rosa and set in Benidorm. ‘The Shell‘ includes artists who earn a living by singing covers of renowned singers such as Lady Gaga, The Killers, Shirley Bassey etc.
Dani is a waiter who has a suppressed aspiration for music. He meets Sandra, a singer who works in hotels and has imitated Adele. Will they both hit it off? Alex Monner and Marina Salas play the roles of Dani and Sandra respectively.
I Want You (1998)-

This British crime novel film gathers in the scene a number of characters named Helen, Bob, Honda, Smokey, and Martin. Honda is a quiet boy whose secretary tapes people’s personal conversation and Smokey who sings in the bar is his sister. Helen is a young woman who runs a hairdressing salon and Bob is her boyfriend.
Honda becomes attested Helen and begins to irritate her conversation with Bob which leads to the reactivation of the relationship between Helen and Martin, a new man in town who at first has been observing Helen from a distance.
The film was released on October 30, 1998. Directed by Michael Winterbottom, it stars Rachel Weisz as Helen, Alessandro Nivola as Martin, Luka Petrusic as Honda, Labina Mitevska as Smokey, Ben Daniels as Bob.
I Love You, Stupid (2020)-

The last film on our list is also a Spanish one focusing on Marcos. Marcos is a young man who faced a disastrous breakup with his girlfriend of eight years, Ana. He also misses work the day after this break up.
Now distraught, as he wants to reinvent himself, he takes help from a childhood friend who is also an Argentinian YouYube guru. Conducted by Laura Mana this movie was released on January 24, 2020. It features Quim Gutierrez as Marcos.
