Will there be a Nailed It Season 8? let’s find out.
Nailed It! follows disastrous deliveries of cakes and other food items artistically crafted by super-enthusiastic but under-talented home bakers who are hand-picked to provide the best entertainment. Whoever messes up the least, wins a cash prize of $10,000 and other goodies.
But what precisely happens?
The selected contestants are made to jump through quite a few hoops in order to recreate whatever is given to them. It’s quite the spectacle to see the contestants take great pride in their abilities to mimic said cakes and then watch it all crash and burn.
The series is hosted by Nicole Byer, with Jacques Torres, a well known pastry chef, as the judge. They are joined by a new celebrity guest from different fields in each episode.
The humor and lightheartedness that Nicole Byer brings to the table alongside the patient and learned, Jacques Torres, keeps viewers wanting more.
What happened so far?
The season opened with Halloween on the air, where Byer and Torres joined the cast of another Netflix special, Cobra Kai.
Mary Mouser stepped in as a judge with her co-star Gianni DeCenzo taking part in the baking activities. They went through a series of tasks, however, the most challenging task was carried out by the judges themselves and that was tasting the horrible food of God presented to them.
Catering to a younger audience in addition to staying true to its nature as a Netflix Special, each subsequent episode follows the theme of a Netflix Series, such as The Witcher and The Umbrella Academy.
In the second episode, as a guest, as Nicole said, it was “the handsome comedian” Tone Bell who added lots of pizzazz to the already remarkable lineup of contestants and judges.
And my personal favourite is the third episode, where we meet the amazing Emmy Raver-Lampman, who plays Allison on the critically acclaimed show, The Umbrella Academy.
Is it worth the watch?
Well, if you cannot settle on what to watch, this would be my number one recommendation. With only 4 episodes so far, the entertainment is maxed out and we cannot wait for more cake and banter!
And there isn’t any official information about Nailed It Season 8 let’s wait and see what happens.
