Blood of Zeus Season 2 Updates: Blood of Zeus is a brand new Netflix Anime based on Greek mythology. It comes from the same studio that made Castlevania and will leave you in awe with its brilliant visuals and amazing soundtrack.
The story puts you in the shoes of the bastard son of Zeus, Heron, who lives on the outskirts of historical Greece. After discovering the mysteries of his origin, destiny sets him on a journey to defeat an army of demons.
Blood of Zeus is made by the director duo of brothers Charley and Vlas Parlapanides. This happens to be their first try to combine anime and Greek history. Recently they teamed up with Henry Cavill and made Immortals which is a movie based on the famous anime series Death Note.
Blood of Zeus is produced by Powerhouse Animation. The same studio that brought you Castlevania. Just like Castlevania, Blood of Zeus has incredible visuals and an amazing orchestral soundtrack.
Blood of Zeus Season 2 Cast
Blood of Zeus features an amazingly talented voice cast, incorporating voice actors who have previously acted in such well-known shows as Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and the Amazon Original series The Man in the High Castle. Here, we have rounded up the whole cast and the characters they play:
Derek Phillips is Heron – Bastard son of Zeus and our main protagonist. Derek previously starred in films such as Friday Night Lights, 42, and Netflix’s Longmire.

Jason O’Mara as Zeus – Heron’s father. He has previously starred in films such as Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and the Amazon Original series The Man in the High Castle.
Claudia Christian as Hera – wife of Zeus. She previously starred in the show Babylon 5 and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
Elias Toufexis as Seraphim – Hera’s ally. You may recognize him from games like Fortnite and Assasin’s Creed and also in The Expanse and Star Trek: Discovery series.
Jessica Henwick as Alexia – A warrior and ally of Heron. She appeared in Game of Thrones, Marvel’s Defenders, and the movie Lover and Monsters.
