He refuses to give Charity and then he’s impolite to his nephew when they invite him to spend the feast of Jesus which is nothing but Christmas. He behaved very rudely with his nephew when the nephew asked him to spend time with him during the Christmas festival.

As for Ebenezer Scrooge, the character is believed to have been inspired by several people mainly the eccentric miserly moneylender John. Scrooge is alleged to have been inspired by several real life people including money under John Elwes.

Ebenezer Scrooge fell in love with a young woman named Belly and proposed marriage but little by little his love for Belly was overcome by his love for money Belly realized this and hated his Creed which left him in ‘One Christmas ultimately marries another man.
