Plotline Series Details
At the conclusion of the show, our main characters Alina, Mal, Kaz, Inej, Jesper, and Zoya, successfully escaped the Fold, and the Villainous General Kerrigan was presumed dead.
Later, the two groups split up, with Kaz, Inej, and Jesper traveling to Ketterdam to deal with the adversaries who are after them for failing to capture the Summoner of the Sun and claim their head.
In order to escape their pursuers and recruit allies, Alina and Mal set sail for a remote location. There, Alina will improve her abilities until she is powerful enough to destroy the Fold.
The second season of Shadow and Bone will possibly focus on the second novel, Siege and Storm, as the first season was a faithful representation of the book of the same name. There are several developments in the storyline that will occur in the second season as well, but one important one is that General Kirigan survives and gains more strength.
It is likely that Kirigan will continue to serve as the main antagonist of season 2. According to the official summary of Siege and Storm, it follows the second novel in the Shadow and Bone trilogy, “Alina will must make a choice from the strength her and the love she believed would all the time be her refuge, to preserve her homeland. No victory can be achieved without sacrifice, and only she is in a position to face the approaching storm.”
Is there a Trailer for Season 2?
Netflix released a brand new teaser for Shadow and Bone Season 2 during their Tudum 2022 virtual event in late September 2022. Two fan favorites are introduced in the 41-second teaser: Wylan, the sixth member of the Six of Crows, and Nikolai Lanstov, the Rakvan prince, who is played by OA’s Patrick Gibson.
