Season 2 will focus on participants working together to share the victory, compared to how things fell apart for everybody in Season 1. The Front Man and how the police allow the Game of -Squid could be the main focus of the second season.

Gi-hun, the only surviving protagonist, seems to prefer to leave the organization after Squid Game above to continue with his daughter, and is unlikely to voluntarily re-engage in the game, even if tempted by the resident recruiter of Squid Game.
However, dystopian organizations like this will all the time find a way to force acceptance, so Gi-hun’s daughter will be used to lure him back into the game.
Nam, the complex inventor in the Squid Game universe, also appears to be gone, which could result in an even less fair game than before.
