Vic is arranging for the girl firefighter program in Station 19 season 6 episode 6. She hopes to encourage the next batch of young girls to pursue a career in firefighting. She contacts Maya, who remains in her bed and doesn’t enjoy the disturbance in her sleep.
She chooses to run after being woken up, and before leaving, Carina informs her that she took a pregnancy test and didn’t get pregnant.
Maya is angry that Carina did a test by herself and storms off. Carina is surprised by her attitude, and they’ve another argument, so Carina decides to just go to work.
It was only going to be a matter of time until Maya fell ill. Her job was wearing her down, she was spending all her free time at the gym, and she is stressed.
She misses the proven fact that she is simply human and should not push herself so hard. The terrible aspect is that she had the potential to overcome her anger, but she let it get to her and now she is overcoming it.
