The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Part 1 picks up six months after the completion of the Trevor Elliot case of Season 1, and as the trailer shows, Mickey is still on a high from the exposure.

He has been on the covers of magazines and given several high profile interviews. However, Mickey’s newfound celebrity has its drawbacks, as he’s approached in a parking area and punched in the face, a reference to season 1 of The Lincoln Lawyer, which begins in a parking garage parking area.

Mickey meets and becomes romantically connected to Lisa, who is ultimately arrested while maintaining problematic ties to his ex-wives.

Even although the trailer closes with Lisa’s arrest, season 2 is based on the fourth novel in Connelly’s trilogy, The Fifth Witness, which contains more details.

Lisa is suspected of murdering greedy real estate mogul Mitchell Bondurant. As Mickey investigates, he learns that his death may be linked to a larger plot, including shady banking practices and mortgage fraud.

Despite the overwhelming evidence against her, a critical piece of forensic evidence hints at her innocence, which Mickey intends to use to prove her client’s innocence and uncover the reality behind the crime; Mickey must fight ruthless prosecutor Andrea Freeman, who is undefeated in court, to prove Lisa’s innocence.

After the thrilling ending of Season 1, The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 updates reveal the return of most of the cast, with one notable exception.

Trevor Elliot, played by Christopher Gorham, won’t return for the following season. Fans can rejoice, however, as the famous lawyer, Mickey Haller, had it Manuel Garcia-Rulforemains at the center of the show’s plot.

Neve Campbell will resume her role as Maggie McPherson, albeit on a frequent occasion, while Becky Newton she will return as Lorna.

Jazz Raycolewho portrays a personal driver Izzy, and Angus Sampsonwho played Cisco, will both reprise their roles.

Additionally, Krista Werner and Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine will reprise their roles as Hayley Haller and Detective Raymond Griggs, respectively.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 also introduces new faces that will contribute to the growing story. Matt Angel joins the cast as Henry Dahl, a real crime podcaster, and Lana Parilla as Lisa Trammell, Mickey’s friend and business partner trying to keep her restaurant open in the face of a murder charge.

Yaya Dacosta joins the ensemble as prosecutor Andrea Freeman, a formidable criminal prosecutor, while acclaimed Mexican actress Angelica Maria plays Mickey’s arrogant mother.

With these additional people added to the mix, the second season can explore new dynamics and deepen the plot further.
