Plot Details Of The Noel Diary Movie

The Noel Diary on Netflix is a remake of the bestseller of the same title by Richard Paul Evans. In the film, Justin Hartley plays best-selling author Jacob Turner, who comes home for the vacations to settle his mother’s estate after she dies.
Since his mother’s mental sickness forced him to leave home when he was only sixteen years old, Jacob Churcher has not visited his home for nearly twenty years.
A few days before Christmas, Jacob receives a phone call from a lawyer who informs him that his mother, with whom he had a relationship, had died and left him at home. Jakobb comes to set up the estate in addition to to try to make up for the grief and violence he endured when he was young.
And maybe cleaning her house will be a little less painful than spending the vacations alone, watching Christmas classics on repeat. But as it turns out, the property contains more than simply painful memories; Jacob must sort out 20 years of clutter left behind by his mother’s collection.
As Jacob sifts through the debris like an archaeologist, he discovers a number of objects that are puzzling to him. One of these is a diary written by a young woman named Noel, who stayed with Jacob’s family while she was pregnant and whose identity Jacob cannot remember. That’s not the only thing that sounds like it comes from the past.
Rachel, a lady, looking for her birth mother after being given up for adoption thirty years earlier, pays Jacob an undesirable visit. Jacob and Rachel start attempting to find Noel because they’ve the same goal of rewriting their respective futures and giving meaning to the events of the past.

Who Is Justin Hartley?

Justin Scott Hartley is a widely known actor in the United States. He is also recognized for his television appearances, as Fox Crane in the NBC daytime drama Passions (2002–2006).
In the third season of the tv show Revenge, Hartley played Patrick Osbourne in a recurring role. He played Kevin Pearson, a character in the drama series, in the NBC drama series This Is Us from 2016 to 2022.
For this role, he was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Hartley was born while his family lived in Knoxville, Illinois. He was born in a hospital in Galesburg, which was located near their home. Together with his brother Nathan, his sisters Megan, and Gabriela, he grew up in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park.
