In The Noel Diary’s upcoming rendition of the classic vacation tale, a man is allowed to write his own story, which is the most acceptable Christmas present anyone could ever hope to receive.

Based on the book and movie titles, the story will likely focus on what he discovers at home, especially in an old journal that somebody called Noel left behind.

Noel Diary Release Date

We expected that the Christmas movie would be released in 2021, but this didn’t occur.

Instead, the film will be released on Netflix on November 24, 2022, during the 2022 vacation season. It is being billed as a “big box office Christmas movie” for 2022.

The Plot of the film.

Based on Richard Paul Evans’ novel, The Noel Diary. Charles Shyer is the director of the film. Margret H. Huddleston, Timothy O. Johnson, and Stephanie Slack produced the film.

The film follows best-selling novelist Jacob Turner (Justin Hartley), who comes home for the vacations to settle his estranged mother’s estate after she dies. Then he discovers a journal. The journal is not your typical one. Instead, it contains mysteries from its history. When Jacob discovers a journal written by someone named Noel, it reveals several truths about his background.

Rachel (Barrett Doss), a lovely young woman arrives on her mysterious adventure. Together, they embark on an odyssey to confront their past and explore a possible future.

Justin Hartley will play the main character, a best selling novelist who comes home after his mother’s death to sort out his mother’s affairs. Other cast members include Emmy contender Treat Williams and Golden Globe nominee Bonnie Bedelia.

Is there a teaser for The Noel Diary available?

There is currently no trailer, and we should not expect to see any until October or early November. With Halloween approaching, Netflix will likely release additional Netflix & Chills material for their 2022 lineup.

Anyway, we can get a first look at this movie during the Tudum event in September.
