Scott Cooper directed the upcoming American film ‘The Pale Blue Eye’. It falls under the gothic horror mystery genre and is based on the same novel by the American author Louis Bayard in 2003.
Christian Bale has announced that he will participate in the film in February 2021. This film serves as the third one for Bale and director Cooper to work together.
The film’s all-star ensemble cast includes Harry Melling, Gillian Anderson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lucy Boynton, Toby Jones, Simon McBurney, Harry Lawtey, Robert Duvall, and Timothy Spall with Bale. Filming of the film began on November 29, 2021.

The plot of the upcoming film The Pale Blue Eye is set in the year 1830 and revolves around a number of murders in addition to their investigation. The assassination takes place at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.
Augustus Landor, a veteran detective, is tasked with investigating the murder. A young cadet of the United States Military Academy Edgar Allan Poe helps in the investigations.
