The series called The Three-Body Problem is a couple of Chinese physicist and researcher named Wang Miao who somehow gets entangled in a conspiracy. This conspiracy is related to several suicides amongst the frontiers of science.
There is another character named Ye Wenjie who is an astrophysicist. Ye saw her father being brutally killed. After her father’s murder, she went to a labor camp but later got involved in a conspiracy because of her scientific background. Her daughter is among the suicides that was investigated by Wang.
Due to the above situation, the two main characters got to know one another and have become friends. The main character Wang goes through many things and divulges many mysteries.
