The highly anticipated trailer for The Wheel of Time Season 2 is here, expanding the universe of the epic fantasy series.

The Wheel of Time season 2 trailer was crammed with revelations that affect the upcoming events. The series Wheel of Time Season 2 will adapt the second and third volumes of Robert Jordan’s book series, building on events from the previous season and what’s known about the upcoming storyline.

The two-minute trailer features every character from The Wheel of Time’s ensemble cast, starting with Rosamund Pike’s Moiraine, who last appeared after Season 1 and lost her ability to channel. Moiraine’s attention is now fully focused on Rand and his destiny as the Dragon Reborn.

The teaser introduces many new characters, including Aviendha of the Aiel nation and Elayne Trakand, the Daughter-Heir of the great country of Andor.

Mat, who has been reformulated for Season 2, will be portrayed by Donal Finn and Perrin. He found a weird connection with the wolves, two other characters whose journeys are hinted at in the trailer.

Nynaeve & Egwene are now pursuing their studies in the White Tower, controlled by Amyrlin Seat, the most powerful woman in the world. A scene from the trailer shows Amyrlin and her secret lover, Moiraine, reuniting.

The trailer shows one of the Seachan saying that “the whole world will be ours” after opening the box containing the Horn of Valere.

The Horn of Valere is a magical relic that’s the target of the “great hunt” of the title. By showing this particular moment, the trailer shows where it ends when Padan Fain abandons him with Fal Dara.

The Wheel of Time season 2 trailer focused on a lady covered in blood. Her face was not revealed, but this was likely a look of Lanfear being released for free.

Rand talks to Logain and wants to train in what might be the most unforeseen scene of the trailer. In more ways than one, Logain becoming Rand’s tutor deviates significantly from the books.

Viewers will see some of the series’ most fearsome enemies, including the Seanchan country, which initially appeared in Season 1 as a fleet of warships approaching the beach.
