Plotline Details Of The Movie

They Cloned Tyrone

According to the film’s official synopsis, this is a “Science and scrutiny mystery caper in which an unlikely trio explores a sequence of strange events, alerting them to a sinister plot lurking just beneath their hood.”

Fontaine, a local drug dealer, is shot dead by rival Isaac and is shocked to find himself unhurt when he wakes up in his bed the next morning.

He begins to research the incident with Slick Charles and Yo-Yo, and their investigation ultimately takes them to a large underground complex where a government-backed facility is conducting experiments on the local Black population.

Fontaine initially experiences grief when he learns that he’s an artificial clone controlled by Nixon, but later decides that for the sake of his neighborhood, he must confront these white institutional masters.

They Clone Tyrone: Is Their A Trailer?

Yes, the trailer for “They Cloned Tyrone” had already been released. The first official trailer for Juel Taylor’s debut film, They Cloned Tyrone, was released during Netflix’s international fan festival TUDUM. It starts with Slick at the start of the trailer.

Yo-Yo, Fontaine, and Charles were all dressed to the nines and silently got on an elevator. Since they aren’t investigators, as Foxx makes clear in the teaser, it’s not clear how they came to find out about this disaster.

Whatever the case, they recruit the help of friends to investigate. As hundreds of pod-like objects appear before the trailer closes, it seems the conspiracy has unfortunately gotten out of hand for these sleuths.
