Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)-
Matthew Vaughn directed this spy action comedy film that serves as the first film in the Kingsman film series. It is adapted from the comic of the same name by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar.
The plot revolves around an undercover agent named Gary Unwin known as “Eggsy” who is recruited by a secret organization of spies to search for an eco-terrorist named Richmond Valentine.
Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egertonand Michael Caine are the main cast members of the film. It was released in the US on February 13, 2015. It arrived on HBO on May 1 of this year.
Paper Moon (1973)-
The 1973 American road comedy-drama film is now available to stream on HBO. Peter Bogdanovich he directed this film whose plot is set during the Great Depression in Kansas and Missouri.
It features real-life father and daughter Tatum O’Neal and Ryan O’Neal as protagonists Addie Loggins and Moses “Moze” Pray respectively.
Tatum O’Neal won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance which made her the youngest competitive winner in Oscar history.
In the United States, the film was released for the first time on May 9, 1973. It arrived on HBO on May 1 of this year.
Parasite (2019)-
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 92nd Oscars, ‘Parasite’ is now on HBO. Bong Joon-ho directed this South Korean black comedy thriller film.
The plot shows how a poor family infiltrates the home of a wealthy family posing as highly qualified unrelated individuals leading to the darkest consequences.
The film became critically acclaimed and won all four major awards at the Oscars. It was initially released at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21, 2019. It is amongst the various films that were released on HBO on May 1 this year.
Step Brothers (2008)-
This is another movie that arrived on HBO on May 1st of this year. Adam McKay directed this 2007 American comedy film. The plot revolves around two middle-aged men named Dale and Brennan.
The most uncommon thing about them is that they still live with their parent. But when Dale’s father marries Brennan’s mother, the two men are forced to live in the same house which inevitably creates a number of challenges.
John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell shown to Dale and Brennan respectively in the film. It was initially released on July 25, 2008.
Legion of Super-Heroes (2023)-
This animated superhero movie is based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. The film serves as the sixth installment of the “Tomorrowverse” feature.
The plot revolves around Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl who trains with the titular superhero team from the thirty-first century to fight “Dark Circle”, a terrorist organization.
It was initially released on February 7, 2023, and is scheduled to arrive on HBO on May 8 of this year.
Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow (2004)-
This 2004 sci-fi action-adventure film was the directorial debut of Kerry Conran and revolves around the fight of Sky Captain (played by Jude Law) against gigantic robots.

The Conjuring (2013)-
This is the first installment of The Conjuring Concession of the Universe. The supernatural horror film was inspired by the allegedly real reports of paranormal investigators Ed Warren and Lorraine Warren who helped a family who experienced disturbing events in 1971 in Rhode Island.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga shown to Ed and Lorraine in the film. It was initially released in the US on July 19, 2013. The film is scheduled to arrive on HBO on May 8 of this year.
Unbreakable (2000)-
M. Night Shyamalan directed this superhero thriller that serves as the first installment of the Unbreakable film series.
The plot revolves around security guard David Dunn who, after surviving a dangerous train accident, is informed that he has superhuman abilities.
Bruce Willis shown to David Dunn in the film. It was initially released in the US on November 22, 2000, and will arrive on HBO on May 15 of this year.

the first film of The Lord of the Rings a trilogy that was adapted from the first volume of the same name of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ by JRR Tolkien, is coming to HBO for streaming on the 19th of May this year.
The film was initially released in the United States on December 19, 2001.
