The animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions‘ consists of a number of original stories that are set in or inspired by the Star Wars universe.
The first volume of the series consisted of nine animated short films produced by seven Japanese animation studios which are Kamikaze Douga, Geno Studio, Studio Colorido, Trigger, Production IG, Kinema Citrus, and Science SARU.
The second volume will include shorts from animation studios in countries such as Spain, Ireland, Chile, the United Kingdom, South Korea, France, India, Japan, the United States, and South Africa. It is scheduled to be released on Disney+ on May 4, 2023.
