David Yateswho is most famous for directing the last four films of the Harry Potter series, directed the upcoming conspiracy drama ‘Pain Hustlers’. The film is based on the same article by Evan Hughes in 2018 which was published in New York Times Magazine and his follow-up novel in 2022- ‘The Hard Sell’.

The plot revolves around two concert artists that FBI agent Richie DiMaso forces to carry out an elaborate and risky operation on some corrupt politicians including the mayor of Camden and New Jersey as well. The names of these counter artists are Irving Rosenfeld and Sydney Prosser aka Lady Edith. The unpredictable Rosalyn Rosenfeld who is Irving’s wife is also a significant character.
