Martin Scorsese directed the epic Western crime drama film ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ adapted from David Grann’s 2017 book of the same name.

The plot follows a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation that occur in the 1920s following the discovery of oil on tribal land and the investigation that follows. The film contains a large ensemble cast full of critically acclaimed artists.

When Does ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ Come Out in Theatres?

Paramount Pictures has announced that it’ll distribute the film in June 2019. The film marks the eleventh collaboration between Scorsese and De Niro and the seventh between Scorsese and DiCaprio.

Principal photography began on April 19, 2021, and ran until October 1, 2021. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2023. Killers of the Flower Moon will hit theaters on October 6, 2023.
