Last year, the Oscars were marred by the not-so-Will Smith kind of incident. Unless you are a kid without internet or an alien from another planet, you need to know what Will did eventually year’s academy awards.
What Actually Happened?
To recap, the incident involved the actor Will Smith and the comedian Chris Rock. Chris was trying to make the audience at the 94 Oscars Academy Awards.
Chris went a little too far and turned Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He made a joke about her hair which the Hollywood actor did not like very much.
The Pursuit of Happyness actor reacted to the entire hair joke by going on stage and slapping Chris. This shocked everybody present there.
Chris was brave enough to react smoothly to the entire thing by making a joke out of it and absorbing the slap. The whole ceremony went on as planned afterwards.
